Merry Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas blogging friends!
I just wanted to pop in to say hello and wish you all a very merry Christmas season! Also, to remind you that this blog is officially closed, but I opened a second blog called Rose of Sharon Garden. I am slowly updating that blog with the stories of our life in 2010. Please click here to read my new posts!
So far the Christmas season of 2010 has been very busy and fun! I got out all the Christmas decorations and decorated the whole house!
We also got our tree!
It's all decorated and ready for Christmas!
I signed all the cards...
...and got them in the mail!
Now we are eagerly awaiting for friends and family to arrive
to start the Christmas festivities!
We are preparing for a big party this Saturday night at our home!
It's a party for our dear friends in our community!
We started throwing this Christmas party 7 years ago and now it is a tradition!
We still need to do our shopping!
This year it should be a little easier with the kids all grown, we will probably be buying small electronics and gift cards!
It is always so fun to wrap the gifts though!
Here's wishing you a white Christmas!
Maybe we'll all get a little snow...
...to stroll in...
...and frolic in with our loved ones!
It would be fun to go caroling too!
I hope to find some time to watch some of the old great Christmas movies...
...and to do a little baking too!
I can't wait to have the families over for our Christmas Eve and Christmas day gatherings!
Getting with the family is so much fun!
I am so blessed with such a loving and fun families! I am so thankful!!!
Here's wishing you sugarplum dreams on Christmas Eve...
...and hoping that Santa will come!
I hope that on Christmas morn...
...you will get what you were wishing for!
But let's not forget.....
... true meaning of Christmas! That Jesus Christ our Savior was born!

"And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2:9-12

Merry Christmas!!!

Love, Sharon
