I want to go back.....

Knott's Berry Farm at Night
November 2009

I want to go back on vacation! Since I've been back there's been drama at work, trouble with my parents and my brother, sad news about a niece, sad news about a friend, disappointing news about a house for sale, and it's been pouring down rain. I want to go back to the sunshine and back to being carefree on vacation.

I have today off and my day is loaded with plans including cleaning, going to the store, going through a lot of paperwork, making phone calls, writing and sending out Christmas party invitations, making a good dinner, making cookies etc. I am hoping to have a few hours this afternoon to catch up with my blogging. I love to blog, but I need more hours in my day! I have heard from a few of you that my blog has been slow to load. I do not know why, I have not done anything differently. I went in and changed it from loading ten pages to just five, so hopefully that will speed things up. Please let me know if you're still having trouble.

Hope you have a great day!

"He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:29

Love, Sharon

Praying He boosts your joy to the "in spite of" level.

Hi Sharon!
I noticed that your site was getting a little slow. Not knowing about computers very much, I thought it was my computer or something I was doing wrong. Learn something new every day!
Take care and hope things calm down in your neck of the woods!
Hugs,
Darlene M
PS I haven't been to Knotts Berry Farm in years. Sure does look like a fun place to visit. One of their chicken dinners sure sounds good right now! Have you been to Disney Land recently? I haven't been there in years either. Well, maybe we will take our grand baby.

vacations are nice and great and everything, and it's always good to get away; but, paradise is home, home is where the heart is, and sometimes there is trouble in paradise. Hope things get better.

Sorry so many things are sad around you. Hope everything starts to turn around. I live in So. California and love Knott's. We try and go once a year. I can see why you want to come back. Hang in there, and don't forget to b-r-e-a-t-h-e!!!!

There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to do all we want to do.... I always enjoy visiting with you here.

You know I could just feel your angst in this post. Often I feel the very same way. The older I get the more and more I realize that in this world I will have trouble. Yet so often I can't get to that second part, "but take heart for I have overcome the world." I just want to have peace and smooth sailing! So much to think on and fret over...and I know I am not supposed to threat. If you decide to go back to that vacation come and get me! In the mean time let's hold tight to Jesus. Blessings sweet sister.

Sharon,
Perhaps that vacation was just what you needed to prepare yourself for what was in store for you when you got home. I'm sorry to hear that things aren't so good for you right now. I will pray for your situation. Enjoy your day off & try not to do so much. You're only one person. You need to take some time for yourself.

Sending hugs from NY

Ooops, I forgot to mention that yes, your sight has been slow opening. Thought it was my computer also. But I wait because you're worth it! :o)

Hi Sharon, I hope and pray that things will ease up a little for you. God will give you strength to overcome anything and I know you are very aware of that! The older I get, the more I realize that life is so short and full of experiences--good and bad--to mold us into what God has intended all along, if we follow the path that He has ordained for us. Remember God feels your pain and wants to take it away. Just pray and get lost in His love.
