Sorrow and Trust

How long, O LORD ?
Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
my enemy will say, "I have overcome her,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
But I trust in Your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in Your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD, for He has been good to me."
Psalm 13

Praying for you and your family today. Please know that you are cared for and about. God knows what He is doing even if we don't, and If He brings you TO it, He will bring you THROUGH it!

I hear your heart...this scripture is circling in my own mind. I heard, I mean really HEARD a line last night at a Beth Moore Bible study I've been attending...."He has not foresaken you" "HE HAS NOT FORESAKEN YOU". He has not foresaken you Sharon!

Thankful that you have Him...as you draw close to Him He will indeed draw close to you. Stopping for a moment to pray for you......Amen

I agree with the above comment. It's amazing to me that something written ages ago can still be so relevant in our lives!! Great psalm, wonderful promise!

Such a good verse! The one on my heart for you today is: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." James 1:2-4

Love you!

Sharon I hope this trying time will soon pass. You are such a dear heart! I'm praying for you and your family. Here's a verse that gives me strength and I hope you too:

Psalms 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

I pray it brings you much comfort.

Love, Lilly

Hi Sharon, Can I come see you today or tomorrow? It would be fun to have lunch and go shopping. If there's room on the floor for a sleeping bag, I'd spend the night and we could watch old movies. I love you, Kathi
