Remembering Haley today........

This is my darling little niece Haley when she was 3 years old. Haley was such a little doll. Not only was she so beautiful on the outside, but on the inside as well. She loved Jesus with all of her heart. Shortly after this picture was taken we learned that she had a brain tumor.
My sister, Kelli and her husband, Ralph with big sister Whitney sitting with Haley in the hospital.

Haley died nine months after the first devastating news. This was the hardest thing our family has ever gone through. It was really, really rough. It is so hard to even imagine how a beautiful little child can get so sick so fast. Kelli and Ralph tried everything medically possible, but nothing worked. It seemed like every time there was hope we would get bad news. Haley was such a beautiful little girl who loved the Lord so much. Kelli and Ralph were just amazing through the whole ordeal, the Lord truly gave them their strength. Haley died 14 years ago on this day. God has restored their family and given them two more children, Samuel and Joseph and their family is doing amazing. Their sweet family is a real testament to the power and love of God.

We love you and miss you Haley.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." Revelation 21:4

"Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."
I Thessalonians 4:17

Love, Sharon

Ooohh Sharon,
Couldn't bare reading this.. And, she was so beautiful, and healthy looking.. I just know that the Lord's plans are not for us to understand always.. I know HE gives comfort and strength, and I'm thankful for this.. Thank God they're getting through, and the Lord has richly blessed them with two more children.. God is good, and may we continue to seek HIS presence daily in our lives.. Thanks for sharing.. hugs to you ~tea~

It is so hard to fathom...a close friend lost her 8 month old to a brain tumor...7 years ago...still so hard to think through. Yet God showed Himself faithful. So hard for those left behind.

How sad. I am glad that God has blessed you family with more kiddos. Not of course that it takes her sweet little place. But more small arms hugging around your neck can sure help with alot of things.

She was such a beautiful little girl. I wish I had the chance to meet her. I'll be praying for strength today for Ralph, Kelli and the kids as they remember their little girl.

Love you!

Oh Sharon,

My prayers are with you all today. I remember reading about Haley here before and have often thought about your lovely face and loving spirit since. No doubt that she's sitting on Jesus' knee right now, smiling at the thought of so many of her loved ones coming to join her in the great heavenly celebration one day. :o) I praise God for the strength of Kelli and Ralph and the entire family, and I pray that He continues to bless them, and all of you, ultimately receiving the greatest blessing of all - being with Him and Haley at this life's end.

I read about Haley on Kathi's blog tonight and it just broke my heart. God takes his children home for a reason and your sister and BIL will know that reason one day. They will know God's full plan and see their beloved Haley again also...and how wonderful that day will be Sharon!
