Fun new treasure.......

We have a little junk store in our town that I recently discovered and this is a new treasure that I found there.
It is an old plate with a lattice border with a cute little red ribbon going through it. It was one of those things that I grab as soon as I see it!
I hung it on the wall in the living room below a little shelf. I love it because it is very old and it has the beautiful old rose design on it.
I think it looks cute here.
It's the perfect colors for my house, red and white!
I really love this sweet little plate and I only paid .50 cents for it!

"Live as children of light - for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true." Ephesians 5:8-9

That is a beautiful plate, Sharon. I love the ribbon along the edge. Very feminine;-) You always find the neatest things. I love to shop at thrift stores too (although I don't have time to do it very often). I think you got a real bargain with the plate.

Have a wonderful day.

Blessings,

Mary Anne

What a gorgeous plate...love where you hung it too...looks like the perfect spot! I found a similar plate while thrifting last week - only mine is plain, no design AND it has ugly ribbon on it right now - gonna change it soon and display it in my kitchen.

Happy Tuesday to you!

You find the sweetest things. I would love to see your home is person - it has so many lovely little things and you have arranged them so well. When I try to put too many things up, it looks cluttered - but yours doesn't look that way. Your home looks very inviting.
Hugs.

Great find. You seem to find all sorts of cool things with roses on them :)
I have seen old serving trays that are spaced like that. That way you can change the color of ribbon to go with your decor/season/ or whatever.

Hi Sharon.

That is a sweet plate. You get the best deals!

Things are pretty status quo here. Not much change. I think things will hit the fan in May.

I appreciate your prayers. Thank you

Hi Sharon!
Love your cute plate. I thought at first glance that you put the ribbon on it. How cool that you found it done like that already? :o) I have a HUGE plate collection (small ones like yours) that are antique. Guess where they are? In my brothers barn! Waaaaa. :o( I keep saying I've GOT to get over there & get them. They've been there for 13 yrs. It would be like Christmas again going through them, because I've forgotten most of them I'm sure. I really hope they're not broken though.

Have a great day!
Hugs,
Mardell
