You ought to be in pictures!

Can you guess what's going on here?
Yep, it's a photo shoot! It's already time to get Grayson's senior pictures done! I can't believe it. Wasn't he just in kindergarten?
This was wonderful to watch. Our photographer is so good! Her name is Jamie and she is the one who did Mackenzie and Brittany's engagement pictures and she will be the wedding photographer too.
She is amazing! I was so surprised to see all the different places that she wanted to take his picture.
This is a different way for us to do senior pictures. With our older two boys we went to the studio and had the standard head shot with a turtleneck sweater. This is like a modeling shoot.
I know I'm his mother, but I think he does look like a model!
What a handsome boy! I know I'm partial, but I think all of my boys are so very handsome! They look a lot like their father! :0)
We invited Rachelle, Grayson's girlfriend, to come along and get in some of the pictures. Aren't they cute together!
They have a very sweet relationship. Rachele was so touched to be invited to be in the pictures and she told me that her mother was touched too and even teared up a little about it.
Jamie had them pose in some really cute positions. I think they make a beautiful couple. Look at her eyes! You can click on the picture to enlarge it a bit.
We had a fun time! I can't wait to get the proofs back. I'll keep you posted on which ones we pick!

Have a terrific weekend!

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14

These pictures are going to look great! I love the wood fence behind him. I have a senior this year too. His pictures were taken this summer, and we already got them back. When we previewed them , I wanted to buy them ALL and it reminded me of the first portrait when he was a baby! Wow~ where does the time go? I forgot we both have seniors. This is my first time thru this~ and feeling a little sad. But the Lord has helped me 'let go' just a little . He has great things in store for our young men! have a lovely weekend!

Morning Sharon!
Thanks for sharing the pictures! I will be excited to see what you all chose. No, you aren't biased, you do have a handsome son and family. He looks like an All American Boy. I think thats what they go for when they look at models, someone who is handsome, but has the boy next store quality! Have a great weekend!

The pictures will turn out so gorgeous - I like how they are done in a natural setting - our sons had theirs done at a studio, too - some of them were outside - but this is even better.

I loved the tole tray and stand you painted to match.

Hey, I haven't been on my blog for quite a while and went on there and was so excited to see your posts - it made me feel like I really had a blog. lol. You are so sweet with your kind comments.

Hi Sharon!
What a handsome guy, he should be on the cover of GQ! He and his girlfriend make a beautiful couple.

Another milestone, senior pictures, how quickly the years go by! I'm sure you're treasuring every moment.

Love, Velvia

Lots of fun!

The boys sure look a lot like their Dad but I see glimpses of you in there too! Hansom family.

You are blessed and so are they to have you. :)
