Go'n to the chapel and we're gonna get married!

It's finally here, the wedding day! We got to the church at 2:00 to start the pictures. Here's Mackenzie with his father and his soon to be father-in-law, Moe. Cheers guys!
My handsome son and me. Wow, when did he get so grown up? I am so very proud of him.
Here's our whole family. We are all so excited and can't believe that this day is finally here! I have always been surrounded by all these men. It will be so fun to have a girl around! The other three boys are so proud of their big brother!
Eric and me before the wedding. I wispered to Eric during the ceramony, "we did good."
Mackenzie with his brother, Cameron and his best man, Collin. Collin and Kenz have been friends since middle school and Collin was at our house a lot; we often called him our 5th son! I am so thankful for Collin in Mackenzie's life!
Cameron is showing Grayson and Hayden what to do for the wedding since they missed rehearsal.
The groom and the two Dads checking out the cake.
Isn't it beautiful!
Grayson and his girlfriend, Rachelle.
The tables are all set and pushed to the sides of the sanctuary. We will move them to the center of the sanctuary after the wedding.
Brittany's mother, Patti, and me out in the sanctuary before the wedding. We were watching the darling slide show of Mackenzie and Brittany growing up and pictures of them during their courtship. They had the slide show playing over and over for about a half an hour before the wedding started. The back up music to the slide show was Mackenzie and Brittany's beautiful worship CD, it was so moving to watch the pictures with their music that they made together!
Here's the box of all the flowers for the wedding party. Now, lets go over the the brides dressing room to see what's going on!
Oh, there she is! Isn't she stunning! Here dress is gorgeous! Her hair is gorgeous! Her face is goregous! Her personality and spirit are goregous!
Brittany's friends trying to fix the back of her dress.
Alicia, the matron of honor is spraying perfume on Brittany.
Me and Brittany, the two women who love Mackenzie best in this world!
Me, Brittany and her mother, Patti.
The two Dads came over to peek at the bride. I thought this was such a cute picture.
Patti toasting her baby daughter, the bride!
Brittany and her bridesmaids toasting. They are all so very lovely! Their dresses are so pretty and I love the color!
Mother and daughter, what a precious moment time this is for them! Putting on the veil.
She's posing for the photographer, she is just so pretty!
Her veil is absolutely gorgeous. It has a long train. The picture that the photographer took of this pose is stunning!
Brittany's bouquet. Isn't it pretty! I am upset with myself because I didn't get a picture of my grandmother's locket that was tied inside, but it was there!
The guests are coming and the three girls are ready to greet them. From left to right, Victoria, my niece, Rachelle, Grayson's girlfriend, and Jessica, my neice. They all look so pretty!
Okay, it's almost 5:00 pm and it will be just a few minutes and the wedding will be starting! Cue the music!

"The LORD God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.' So the LORD God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, He took one of the man's ribs and closed up the place with flesh. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man. " Genesis 2:18, 22, 23

Love, Sharon

Sharon,

Everyone looks fantastic! Brittany is a dream! Her dress is so elegant and classically beautiful. In fact, her bridesmaids dresses look so similar to the ones that my girls wore (but they were pink for summer). I love that tea-length style!

Your dress is FAB, mama! I love it! There's no way you have a son who is old enough to get married. ;o) It's so pretty. Red really becomes you!

I was struck by how much Mackenzie looks like both you and Eric in one of the photos of the two of you (you and your husband). You're certainly right, you guys have done an amazing job raising a God-loving man who will no doubt pass the same legacy of salvation onto his children!

God bless and congratulations again on the marriage of Mackenzie and Brittany...on your new daughter and all the other "little things" (ones! ;o) that are to come!
