Introducing Voice to Spirit! GIVE AWAY!!!!

I would like to introduce you to a new up and coming worship group.......Voice to Spirit! It is my son, Mackenzie and his fiancee, Brittany.
They have been busy writing and recording songs and have published their first CD! It is called "Songs for a Broken City". It took them 15 months from start to finish to produce the CD and they came over to our house several weeks ago to reveal the final product! Mackenzie designed the CD jacket and he did a great job.
My husband, Eric, bought the first copy! In fact, Eric bought five copies! We are so proud of them and we want to share this great news with you! They have their own website, so please go over there and check it out. Just click Voice to Spirit to see their official website and hear their music. It is electronica/techno worship music. They have remixed some favorite older worship songs as well as written some original songs. Last weekend they had a release party and mini concert at Mackenzie's house. I took a few pictures before everyone got there. They set out some of their CDs and some of Mackenzie's art work to sell. Mackenzie recorded their album on this old reel to reel tape and had it playing all during the party.
They served hot dogs with lots of chips and pop and everyone else brought salads. We figured that about 60+ people showed up!
I snuck into Mackenzie's room and took a picture of his studio.
They invited all their family and friends.
Here's a group of Kenzie's buddies from church.
Here's the cousins chill'n out on the couch, Harrison, Jessica, Victoria and Whitney.
Grayson and Rachelle enjoying the party.
More friends!
Kenzie's best friend since 7th grade, Collin with more friends.
Eric cooked the hot dogs.
Hayden and Harrison waiting for the concert to start.
The grandmothers and aunts, Alice, Kelli, Shirley and Kathi, all of whom were very proud!
Here I am beaming with pride for Brittany and Mackenzie!
Brittany with more friends and her future grandmother-in-law.
The concert started and it was so good!
They performed several songs.
Brittany's voice is so beautiful. She also writes songs and plays the guitar.
Mackenzie amazes me with his multiple musical talents! He plays the drums, guitar and piano and he does all the composing and producing, plus he writes songs and lyrics. He also sings a little too. He is pretty much all self taught! He took a piano class in college so that he would play correctly. I give God all the glory for his talent, Eric and I just gave him the opportunities, but the Lord instilled it in him and Mackenzie is the one who ran with it!
The grandparents all watching and listening to the concert.
They were so good and so professional. All the guests were so amazed!
It's all done and they were so happy.
Grandpa Leonard buying his copy of the CD.
Mackenzie signing a CD.
Aunt Kathi purchasing her CDs and getting them signed.
Eric and Mackenzie, Eric is soooo proud of his son!
We are so very proud of them! They were approached by a producer to put a song on a Christian sampler CD, and that will be their next step. Please pray that the Lord will be glorified through their music and for His will to be done with their music.

I will be giving away a free copy of their new CD, Voice to Spirit, Songs for a Broken City. To enter the contest, please go visit their website Voice to Spirit and listen to their samples (my favorite songs are 15,13, 9, 5 and 2). Then come back here and leave a comment and tell us what you think. Please be patient, the website takes a few seconds to load. Mackenzie designed the website as well! I will be choosing the winner next Sunday night and will announce the winner next Monday. I hope you enjoy their music as much as we do!

"I will sing and make music to the Lord." Psalm 27:6"

Proudly, Sharon

Sharon, I'm so thrilled and proud of Mackenzie and Brittany. I do believe they have found an untapped market of people who love God, but have not been able to worship to this cool music, until now. There are lots of kids at my church who heard it and would like them to come and sing. Praise God for these two who are using their talents for glorifying God. I love you, Kathi

Hi, so that was the secret announcement! It certainly must have taken so much work. Hopefully they will find their niche. The music is a little spacey for me, but I do occasionally like that type of music. I hope God will enable them to minister to many!
