Cabin at Crescent

In case you are wondering why I haven't been writing you.......this is why! This is where we have been this weekend! At a cabin up near the high lakes in Oregon.
These are pictures of us at the cabin last summer in August. It was so much fun!
It sits right on a beautiful creek!
We bid for a weekend at this cabin at the high school auction and won.

It was so much fun that we decided to try and get it again at the auction for this year and we won it again! It is such a relaxing and peaceful cabin! We loved it!!!

We had such a wonderful time! It was so great to just hang out with the family for four whole days!
We got it for Memorial weekend this year and by the time you read this, we will be heading back home.
The weather will not be quite as hot though.......it's supposed to be raining all weekend. We will still have fun though being all cozy inside playing games and watching movies!
I hope that all of you had a beautiful Memorial day. I will share pictures of our trip from the weekend later in the week and I promise I will get back to all of my blogging friends who left comments in the next day or two!

"But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits." Psalm 5:11

Hugs, Sharon

Sharon,

This looks like a wonderful time. I hope it didn't rain the entire weekend.

Thanks for your comments on my post. We don't have Memorial Day in Canada. Our long weekend was last weekend - Victoria Day and it was cold and wet, as usual. It always rains on the long weekend in May.

I am looking forward to the photos of your weekend.

Blessings,
Mary

Hi Sharon... So glad I stumbled upon your blog... it's lovely! I enjoyed seeing and reading about your holiday weekend with your loved ones.
I have marked your blog so that I can return, soon, to do more reading. Hope you don't mind ~smile~ Oooh... I loved the pics of your son bringing you the Lilacs! They're my favorite flower, too. Not too long ago, I did a tribute to Lilacs post... sure would be happy to have you stop by to read it and visit awhile! So nice to have "met" you, Sharon. God bless.

Oh my gosh what a FUN four day weekend!!!!! I am so glad you had a great time, I bet it was fun too having a girl around!
Sharon I know you have mentioned before about getting these blues sometimes, but I think you do a heck of a job to get rid of them and get passed them. You know it is just the enemy creeping in and I know he has no room or space in your life. I think your family will be growing as the boys get older, and you have such an incredible relationship with them that there is only room for prospering when it comes to you and your family. I hope for myself that as my two grow up that it will include more friends and additions to our family. You are always on the right path with them, you and Kathi are such great examples. Just like how you said you always have prayed for the women the boys would marry, for years! I never ever thought of that, but it makes so much sense, like I think now...why haven't I been doing this!!!! Sometimes I think ...oh maybe this isn't important enough to pray about, as if I am saving up my prayer time for something more important etc..... I am learning that you can even pray about the smallest things.
If I had a sister I would want her to be just like you, thank you for being you!

Love,
Kelly
