Show and Tell - Honey Pot

Today is Show and Tell Friday at Kelli's blog, There's No Place Like Home, click here: Kelli's House and go visit her sight to join in on all the fun!

Today I would like to share my honey pot.

Have you ever seen one like this? It is pretty cool. It is pretty much dripless and stays nice and neat.
You simply fill it with honey and keep it in the little cup. There is a little rubber plug in the bottom that is hooked to a lever on the handle. It stays plugged until you pull the lever and it drops honey at a slow and steady pace where you want it to go!
Here is a close up view of the little rubber stopper in the bottom.
I think it is such a cute little container. I keep it on my counter. I found this at Goodwill when I was shopping with my sister. I paid $1.99 for it. I put it through the dishwasher and it works perfectly!
If you have not tried Thomas' English muffins, you simply must try them. They are so delicious and perfect with a little butter and some honey on top!
See how simply this honey pot works!
Yummy!
A very special breakfast just for me!

"How sweet are Your words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth!" Psalm 119:103

Have a happy weekend!

Love, Sharon

If I was posting this in the AM,
I would be so hungry for the honey

O.K. I should never blog before I eat breakfast! That looks so good!

Your presentation is beautiful.

And I love, love, LOVE the scripture you chose!

Great Show N Tell! Have a great weekend! I'm off to my kitchen to find the English muffins...and honey! My honey jar is less sophisticated...it's a squeeze bear.

I'll have to do a little shopping to spruce up my honey container!

What time do we eat? That looks yummy! I LOVE honey on top of peanut butter on a really good, whole-grain piece of toast! I like the stopper idea! The honeycomb design is really cute too! I'm going to have to be on the lookout for one of these! BTW, the BEST honey I've ever eaten is from Babb, Montana just outside Glacier NP! I have some in the pantry and need to get some more!

Oh gosh! I love your little honey pot! And your pictures have stirred my appetite! Thank you for sharing them.

You must have risen early to get a spot in the top 5 Show and Tell's. I slept late and ended up number 30. lol

Have a lovely day, Sharon!

So cute! I just bought some english muffins this week and have not yet had breakfast - think I will try this - although my honey will drip from the jar until I find one of these cute things!

Oh you lucky girl. You got the honeypot before I saw it. It is perfect, and I use a lot of honey. I'm going to keep my eyes open for one. Your place setting is so pretty. Those dishes and silverware are lovely. I have a houseful of teenagers at the moment. Two girls and a boy spent the night. Lots of fun and laughter.

I'm taking everyone home around 10:30. Today or tomorrow might work to see you again. I love you, Kathi

How cool is that?! I have never seen anything like it.

May I ask where you got your tablecloth? I have been looking for one with pink roses but can't seem to find any kind of floral one.

Ditto what everyone has said, Sharon! I remember my Grandfather used to have "whipped honey." Oh my, it was so good on toast. I haven't had that in 30 years. I was just asking my mom if they still make it. I think it was "Sue Bee." I may just be on a mission to find some this weekend. Thank you for reminding me of the wonderful, glorious taste of honey. (Ahem...don't get me started on maple syrup!)
Hugs,
Mardell

Hi Sharon! That is a fabulous honey pot. Your display is beautiful. I think I need to take the time to set a lovely table like yours in the morning instead of Captain Crunch on the go... hee hee Thanks for the pretty post! Hope you've had a great week.
