Remembering Haley

This is a picture of my darling little niece, Haley, who died on this day 13 years ago. She was not quite 4 years old. She died of a brain tumor. She was my sister Kelli's little girl. It was the saddest thing I have ever gone through. She was a beautiful little girl who loved Jesus. She is in heaven now and God has restored my sister and her husband Ralph. We all will always love Haley and will never forget her and look forward to the day when we reunite with her in Heaven. Even through this very difficult time, it was so evident that God was with my sister and her husband and all of our family, there are so many amazing stories and one day I will share them with all of you.

Kelli and Ralph taught Haley to memorize Bible scriptures and this was one of Haley's favorites.

"Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also have forgiven you." Ephesians 4:32

~ Sharon

That scripture is lovely Sharon. And, I'm so sorry that your niece Haley died. That's very heart wrenching. I will pray for your sister Kelli and her husband Ralph. And, I'm also glad that God has helped them heal over the years. I'm very sorry to hear this, and I just want you to know that you are ALL in my thoughts & prayers. God bless you all!

Peace, Love, & Prayers,

Hi Sharon!
What a beautiful little girl Haley was! I can't imagine how difficult this was for your family. I'm so glad your sister and her husband found comfort in our Father in their time of need. Even though it's been 13 years, I know you all still miss her. I'll be lifting up your family today in prayer.
Love, Velvia

I think it is very difficult to hold our hands open to God with the lives of our children. It really is a matter of Trust--trusting Him that He loves and knows best.ps pray for Erin if you get this--they are doing a proceedure at 1:oo central time

Oh Sharon,

Praying for you, Kelli, Ralph and the entire family. What a blessing and a beautiful treasure Haley is, living now with our loving Lord. I can only imagine how she smiles at seeing all of her loved ones pursuing lives in Christ. She will no doubt be there with Him when you each finally return home to your Savior.

What a beautiful photo, and thank you for sharing this with us. I cannot imagine how difficult of an experience it was to lose her. What a blessing it is to have her favorite piece of Scripture noted - and how amazing is God to teach such a valuable lesson (love others) through such a little life.

I will say a special prayer for everyone on this night.....

That is so sad I truly can't imagine it. We must make wonderful memories everyday to help carry us through difficult times.

How precious is she! Isn't it such a blessing that we can have that reassurance and peace of mind knowing that while we miss them greatly they are waiting for us to join them in such a beautiful place that we can't even imagine! I pray that more parents will introduct their young children to scripture as your sister did!
