Happy Valentine's Day!

I wanted to show you the Valentine version of the hot chocolate that I take up to my boys in the mornings to help wake them up. I don't do this every day, I do it just once in awhile so it is a special treat to them. I like to make it fun and pick seasonal cups and trays. They seem to really enjoy it and I love to do it for them.

Here are a couple of pictures of me with my Valentine of 30 years, Eric. The picture above was taken at a wedding that Eric was in a few years ago. I think my man looks so handsome! I would like to dedicate the song that is playing to him (The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, by Roberta Flack).

The picture above was taken on the night of our 20th anniversary. We were heading out the door to a romantic dinner.

Sometimes I just can't believe that we have been married for 25+ years! It has been an amazing journey. There have been good times and bad, and thankfully more good times than bad! I am so thankful for my wonderful husband. I am so thankful for God's grace, mercy, wisdom and guidance to help us through the years! I know we couldn't have done it without Him! I'm thankful that God worked on my heart and my attitude over the years and that my husband put up with me when I was not being a Proverbs 31 woman!

And lastly, this is to all my blogger friends out there........this Valentine is for you! I hope that you have a wonderful day with your sweetie. Will you be my Valentine???

"Since God love us, we also should love one another." I John 4:11

Love, Sharon

Thank you for visiting me recently.
Yes, we love my mothers lamp.
It is valuable to us.

You have got so much nice in your blog.I understand that you celebrate Valentines Day more in your country than we do. But some people here too are celebrating, I know. I got a post in my blog from a friend of mine, who reminded me
that the greatest love is God's love to us. That is really true.
Have a nice day, you too.
God bless you!

I love your tradition of cocoa in special cups for the kids. You are so pretty and your pictures are so romantic. I love your Valentine's Day post.

My computer has gone off line five times since yesterday, and each time I was writing a comment. I hope I get this one in before it goes off again.

This is my extreme busy commute day, so I won't be back on to blog until this evening.

Stacey and I gave each other chocolates, and we will celebrate out for a nice dinner out Friday night. My wedding ring has been on my fingeer for 25 years today!!! Can you believe it?

Thanks for your congrats on my post. I love you and Happy Valentine's Day. Love, Kathi

Pretty love song too.
