Bailey's Doctor Visit

I promise my blog is not going to turn into a blog that is just about our dog! I just wanted to share this little post with you about her and I think that will be all for awhile.

Well, last week Bailey had a big appointment at the Vets office. This is us waiting in the waiting room. We scheduled her an appointment to get spayed.

She was a little nervous as we waited and........
......... a little curious too. I love the picture above, it turned out so cute, even though it is a bit blurry! She had her surgery and everything went perfect. Eric picked her up later that day and this is all she did......
.......she just laid there and moaned. She got sick once and didn't eat. She just laid there. It was sad. They said she will be like this for a few days...............but as you can see............

Our Bailey is different than most dogs! She has so much energy, not even major surgery can keep her down!
These pictures were taken about 24 hours after her surgery and she is moving so fast that I can't even get a good picture! They are all blurry because she is running around so much! This dog is HYPER! They told us not to rough house with her and to try to keep her quiet for a week.........well forget that! All she does is move!

My husband took her back a week later and I said we should ask for our money back, they said she would be quiet for a couple of days! LOL!
Actually, we are glad that she had a great postop appointment and she is doing great.
She will calm down soon (hopefully!). But at least we know that she will not be having puppies!

She is such a cute, sweet dog, we are truly blessed with her!

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
Love, Sharon

Thank you so much for stopping by my page and praying for Erin! I recieved a comment about the little girl and the lady said that her parents were in her sisters sunday school class. She gave me a web site that you can go to and it updated every day. Erin does seem to be doing better, but she still has a long way to go, so we still need to keep her in our prayers! Here is the website and I will also post it on my blog! http://www.caringbridge.org/cb/viewHome.do Bless you!

Oh I just love to hear about Bailey! She is such a precious one! As I am looking at the pictures I am thinking, boy Bailey you would have been so comfy in your bed IF YOU DIDN"T EAT A FEW WEEKS AGO! hahaha! She really shows she is a trooper with her energy, she must have had enough of just moaning, she is a good example for me!lol
I love this picture where she is standing close to his legs, like for protection, too cute.

have a great day!!!
Kelly

ps hope you are feeling better ~

I love hearing about Bailey too. She is darling. I'm so glad she bounced back so quickly. How are you feeling? I called you again today. I'll try later. I love you, Kathi

I love your Bailey posts, too! I think dog lovers always love hearing about other's dogs. Our little dog was similar after her spaying. She got her stitches aggravated, though, and we had to tranquilize her to keep her calm enough to let things heal. Never a dull moment with kids AND dogs!

That's wonderful Sharon! My dog Tacey got spayed a little while after we brought her home, and she was TOTALLY not hyper! And she was almost always hyper! Now she's 3, and she's calmed down A LOT. It's about time for Tacey's vet appointment...she needs her heart-worm pills. But, I don't really worry about her getting heart-worms that much because she's an inside dog. You know? Anyway, I'm glad the visit went well! Bailey is absolutely adorable!! :D I LOVE Australian Shepards! :)

Peace & Love,

I had a cat named Clarence and about this time last year we had him fixed. He did lay around for the 3 days...so pathetic...

I don't have him anymore because the older he got the longer his hair got and my allegies got to where I could not stand it. I found him a good home though so never fear.

Your Bailey is a doll!

Hope you are having a wonderful day!

Hi Sharon:

I am a close friend of Mimi, Listen to Your Grammie. She set up my blog for me in January. She told me about your boys being on Dr. Phil. We watched that day . . . what an experience that must have been. In any event, being pulled on a mattress did look like fun.

I, too, have a precious little dog--Blessing is her name. Please visit my blog at Though the Flower Fades and see her picture. Mimi tells me I must broaden my horizons and visit more blogs and make more friends, sooooooo . . .

Please do visit sometime.

In Him,
Jim's Patty

Good Evening Sharon,
I am working my way in trying to visit everyone. Your dog Bailey is just adorable. I'm glad she came thru her surgery just fine. She looks to be a bit hyper. LOL. It may have been the meds that made her that way. LOL. I read your previous post about your Son's Basketball Season being over with. He is a nice young looking Man and I know you are very proud of him. Our oldest daughter, who is 11, has played Pee-Wee Basketball since the 3rd grade. They first year they didn't do too well. Their 2nd and 3rd year they went undefeated and won the Championship Game at the end of the Season Tournaments. This year, they added 2 new teams to the league, and well they lost only 2 games. They came in 2nd place in the year end Tournament. She is now playing Softball. She has been playing Softball since she was in the 1st grade. So, when we finish with one sport, another starts up soon right behind it. We are always on the go. Take care my friend and I do hope you are feeling better as well. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

That is so funny that she looks like a blur! My niece was told the same thing with her cat- that she would be real calm for a few days. Yeah right! She was just as wild too. What a great dog Bailey seems to be. We are not ready just yet to get another one.
