Show and Tell - Darling Deer

Today is Show and Tell at Kelli's blog, There's No Place Like Home, you should go over there and take a peak and see all the fun! Kelli has a beautiful blog, you will love it!

Today I would like to show my darling little deer that I won from my friend Deena's Blog called Can I Be Pretty In Pink. She is so sweet, right before she had surgery for a mastectomy for breast cancer she had a contest to give a prize away to one of her blogger friends. I thought this was so selfless of her and so sweet and I was THRILLED to learn that I had won! Thank you Deena!

The box came in the mail and as I eagerly opened it to my delight I saw these 12 little adorable reindeer!

They are so tiny and so detailed! I just love them!

I put two of them on my windowsill in my New Year's display. I think they look perfect there!

I like them because they look so vintage!

Aren't they so cute!!! Again, thank you so much Deena! You are a sweetie! I recommend that all of you go visit her site, she actually has several blogs and she is very inspirational and fun. Also, please say a prayer for Deena as she is not out of the woods yet with her breast cancer.

"Oil and perfume rejoice the heart; so does the sweetness of a friend's counsel that comes from the heart." Proverbs 27:9

Have a great weekend!

Awww they are so cute. I have never seen anything like them.
Hope you are feeling better. My nest felt empty today. Rian is on his way to Nashville and I can't be there.april had her first ultra sound and I wasn't there. I haven't seen Jayden since New Years. I have been working late eve with the new clients so by time I get home it is time to get ready for the next day. I called Brian this evening and said be ready when I get off. I am going to see the photo of my new Gbaby.. and go hold Jayden.Talked to Rian and found out they are in Virginia and hope to be in Nashville. They have to be in line by 5am Sat. The show airs in April.

Oh, they are cute! And you displayed them perfectly! I like tiny, delicate items/trinkets, too! I have a cupboard above my kitchen sink with little sunflower things. Maybe I'll share that for Show and Tell Friday next week!

Sharon, how very nice to have a friend as nice as that! The reindeers are, as you say, vintage-looking, are the tree ornaments?

Sharon said...

Dear Teach,

Yes, they are ornaments and yes, I am blessed to have a blogging friend like Deena!

Oh they are precious!! I have to tell you that when you said, "no place like home" i thought of my daughter being extremely frustrated with the weather and all of the new issues with living in North Country and clicking her heels together and saying, "There is NO Place like home" over and over. Hahahah! Drama Queen? YES...... :)
