We got a new Puppy!

Last night Eric and Hayden picked out our new puppy! Isn't she adorable! She is a full-blooded border collie. So far she is adjusting quite well. She seems to be really friendly and inquisitive, but not a whiner or naughty. She even lets us know when she needs to go potty and she prefers to go outside! She slept in the laundry room last night and at about 4:00 am she started crying a little, but then she stopped and went back to sleep. We've introduced her to our two cats, Kramer and Sunny and the cats did not behave too well! We will have to work on that. We haven't named her yet, but will soon. We are so happy to have her!

What a cutie. My parents have a border collie - she is the smartest dog I've ever met! I just found your blog - I love it and will be checking in regularly!!

She is beautiful! My aunt had a border collie and called her Colleen. She was a great dog - so obedient and well behaved. Good luck with her. She's a keeper.

Blessings,
Mary

AAaaawwwww! She's gorgeous! I just want to pick her up and cuddle her! I can't wait to hear what you name her. Border Collie's are my husband's favourite breed, so I'm going to show him right now!

OMGoodness!!! She's adorable. And a great breed too. They're terrific companions....and a very loyal kind!

What did you name her? [I think y'all should have a naming contest from your blog. *wink*]

Happy weekend. Hope Kramer and Sunny begin to bond soon with your newest family addition!!!

She is adorable! Our dog, Riley, is mostly border collie (looks only a bit more 'solid' than your average bc) and I think border collies make good pets--especially in a household that has lots of people to devote time and attention to her.

Can't wait to see more pictures of her!

OMG! She is the cutest little thing. I could just scoop her up and give her a little lovin'. Your kids must be so excited. And your cats will come around. It just takes time. Oh Sharon, she really is a beauty. I can't wait to hear what you name her.

HAHAHAHAHA - she just makes me laugh (and cry a little) looking at her. I want a puppy!

Love,
Julie

What a cute puppy. Congrats. I found you through Mrs. Wilt's site (the sparrows nest). I have a friend with a border collie. One thing I would recommend as your puppy grows, keep it busy! Hers gets bored and moves and re-stacks some bricks he appropriated from elsewhere in the yard. He also "herds" the kids into corners. (I find that funny.)

What a sweet baby! I wish I could get another dog, but Mabel is an only child. We tried to 'adopt' a dog once. Mabel would stand between him and his food bowl and refuse to let him eat. It didnt work out. See, your cats arent so bad! :)

Border collies are so smart--I love those dogs!! We used to put a clock wrapped in cloth in with the puppy--but I am not sure that really helped.
